Estrogen-only therapy in women with a uterus may increase the risk of endometrial cancer without concurrent progestogen use. Your doctor will prescribe progesterone alongside estradiol if you have a uterus.
Transfer risk: the gel can transfer to others through skin contact before it dries. Do not allow children, partners, or pets to contact the application area until the gel is dry.
